Maritime Emergency Response Training

American ERT's staff of trained and experienced marine instructors meet the demands of realistic training for emergency response at sea or in port. The courses are delivered at the customer's convenience while underway, at a location near the port or at our training site in St. Thomas, USVI. The instruction is customized to specifically address customer needs.

Our staff has worked with all of the major cruise lines on newbuilds, dry/wet dock standbys (Fire/Rescue), underway initial and refresher training in Firefighting, Confined Space Rescue, Hazardous Materials, Incident Command & 1st Aid/Medical. Our group will adapt standard courses like NFPA 1405 to address the concern of shore based Firefighters responding to ships while in port.
