Incident Command System Emergency Response Training
American ERT offers incident command level training for those expected to lead a response to either a fire, hazardous materials or rescue event. OSHA requires personnel in these positions to receive training enabling them to make the right decisions when time is critical. The ERT staff available to instruct these courses have acted in these leadership roles in actual emergency events around the country. These experiences include major hazardous materials releases, industrial / chemical fires, train derailments, tornados and hurricanes, and many others. The ERT staff will bring lessons learned from these events and others to the classroom.
Communication is Key!
Emergency scene communications are often credited for the collapse of the incident command structure. American ERT can train potential scene commanders in the proper communication techniques to implement at the scene of an emergency.
